I love America.
I know . . . we’ve had our issues over the years. But gosh I love this country. My family arrived on the east coast of the United States 100 years before the American Revolutionary War and settled in Williamsburg, Virginia (my mother’s side of the family). Three of my ancestors (a father and two boys) fought for our freedom in that war. The two boys died. I highly recommend that you all check into your own ancestry. It’s a journey worth taking.
Today, I fly the “circle stars” flag of the Revolutionary War at my house . . . 365 days a year. I don’t understand why people burn the flag, or in any way disrespect it (like players in stadiums, for instance, before the game starts). Here’s why:
I DO understand and respect those who take advantage of our Constitution, and protest peacefully. But don’t those protesters who burn the flag realize that they are disrespecting the very flag and country that gives them the RIGHT to protest? I say, go ahead and protest peacefully by holding the flag high, showing respect for the country and flag that gave that right to you. The flag and the country has been bought and paid for in American blood over three centuries. Cherish and love the country, and its representative flag. You’re lucky to be here.
OG’s Truth.
P.S.–Looting and destruction of property is NOT peacefully protesting (but then, we already knew that, right?) So why is CNN (and other “media”) saying that the protests of this summer of 2020 are “peaceful”? More importantly, why are you watching these LIES? Not news . . .
